Link of the Month: People and Planet  As part of our
Trade Justice campaign, People & Planet has been calling on the
UK government to make laws that stop big business profiting at the
expense of people and the environment. In the next few months there is
an opportunity for the government to do exactly that!

The people's need before corporate greed.
Putting people first means setting standards for ourselves when it
comes to choosing between people and profits. Money is important but
it's not ALL important and should not be set above the health and
welfare of people, especially those people who are in need, whether
it's in our own communities or foreign countries.
All friends and activists are invited to join our Peace Army. Our purpose is to recruit volunteers to work with peace, environmental and community organizations. We are dedicated to peace-not-war and our aim is to harness 'positive people' energy to improve our communities and lobby government for Global Peace and Justice. |
