do-it.org.uk is part of the registered charity YouthNet. We are non-profit-making and do not charge organisations to register their opportunities or people to use the database. The majority of opportunities on do-it come from local Volunteer Centres in the UK. These organisations have been provided with hardware, software and training by do-it so that they can upload their vacancies onto the do-it database.  In addition, some national organisations post their opportunities directly on to do-it. HOW CAN I HELP?
There are a multitude of ways in which you can help - it all depends on what areas interest you! The main focus of our PEACE ARMY is to promote GLOBAL PEACE & JUSTICE. We can do this by educating ourselves and telling the TRUTH about war, victims of war and the perpetrators of war...and then taking ACTION.

But that's not all! We can also use our strengths and experience to help out in our community. For example: if you want to help seniors, connect with organizations serving seniors in your local area who need volunteers. The same applies to any area of service you choose - decide what you are interested in and simply connect to an organization in your area that needs help.
